About Elite Wellness HQ

Hi, I'm Raphael, Founder of Elite Wellness HQ.

My journey began as an athlete, playing soccer from age 16, then basketball through high school. Always driven by performance and discipline, I pursued a scholarship to play in the US, navigating challenges with the SAT, TOEFL, and multiple college admissions. I chose Bowling Green State University, where I redshirted for basketball with NBA dreams. When circumstances shifted, I redirected my focus to studies and self-reliance, working to support my education.

A pivotal mentor, Troy Spikes, guided me toward the university's steam plant. What started as a practical opportunity became a passion: I completed the rigorous training education, 1,000 apprentice hours, and exams to earn my 4th Class Power Engineer license. Later in Ontario, I secured the same certification, building a foundation in thermal dynamics across borders.

The Science of Steam:  As an engineer, I've spent years immersed in steam technology, from massive campus heating/cooling systems at Bowling Green to St Andrews College understanding its elegance in controlled transformation.

Steam taught me precision: pressure, temperature, and energy transfer must be balanced perfectly. In machines, steam powers turbines and drives progress. In the body, it delivers renewal, opening pores, promoting circulation, releasing toxins, and restoring balance.

The parallels are profound:

• Energy Transfer — Steam carries heat to power systems; in a sauna, it transfers therapeutic warmth to rejuvenate muscles and mind.
